AFU offers a complete process of product design and production techniques that actually follow the methods used in creation of the original architectural details of Saint Mary’s in 1927 - when the architect’s vision was taken from sketches through artistic mock-ups, mold approvals and into final castings. AFU keeps this traditional method alive and well, blending digital technology, hand carved foam mock-ups, and conventional molding processes to deliver rich visionary symbolism and with a durability of the real thing. Today’s jobsites demand far greater attention to detailing, structural attachments and team coordination than in 1927 – and working with AFU ensured that the artistic process was not lost in the pressures of the modern-day project schedule and jobsite conditions.”
