Chase Doors

Chase Doors is the world's oldest, largest, and most progressive manufacturer of double-acting impact traffic doors. Chase Industries, Inc., founded by Chase Blum in 1932, began its operation as an insulated walk-in cooler and specialty refrigeration equipment manufacturer. Shortly after, Chase pioneered the original flexible AirGard™ Door with its unique top-mounted-only gravity hinging system... that door is still on the job today in food processing, industrial manufacturing, and retail stores. Since then, Chase has expanded its line of doors to include Impact Traffic Doors, Service Doors, Flexible Doors, Strip Doors, Postal and Security Doors, Corrosion-Resistant Doors, Sliding Fire and Sliding Service Doors.

Through the years Chase has evolved their manufacturing processes to become more efficient and consistent. CNC routers and punch presses for cutting and drilling wood, metal and plastics, conveyor systems for faster throughput, a metal component powder coating line, several multi rotationally molded machines, and a flexible PVC extruding line was added. These and other automated processes allow Chase to provide door to door consistencies and cost savings that are passed onto our customers. The longevity and reliability of our products is assured by continuous, rigorous testing on our custom designed door impact testing system.

In 1986, Chase Industries acquired Durus Industries, manufacturer of Durulite® Doors. Durulite Doors were the world's first rotationally molded cross-linked polyethylene door and to date over 300,000 panels are in use. Seven years later, in 1993, Chase acquired Saino Manufacturing, producer of Sliding Fire and Service Doors. Since 1899 Saino has been the recognized leader in the sliding fire door industry. In 1905, Saino invented the world's first corrugated steel fire door. More than a century later, Saino is still producing the best performing fire doors available. Lastly, in 1997, Chase acquired Econo Max Manufacturing. Not only did this acquisition allow Chase to expand our line of traffic doors, but also gave us the opportunity to extrude our own PVC strip material.

Today, with over 200 employees and two vertically integrated manufacturing facilities, Chase has earned a reputation for high quality products that are reliable, durable, at the best prices, and the shortest available delivery times.
