Colonial Seal Co. is a specialty distributor / custom manufacturer of rotary shaft seals, oil & grease seals, hydraulic seals, gaskets and o-rings for both static and dynamic applications. Since 1994, we have been offering a comprehensive range of brand name oil seals such as SKF / Chicago Rawhide(CR), Garlock, JM Clipper, James Walker, Hallite, National, Federal Mogul and Timken. In addition, through a qualified network of global sourcing partners, we offer cost effective replacement rotary shaft seals for many OEM applications. We specialize in custom-manufacturing rotary shaft seals to OEM specifications and replacement of obsolete or discontinued oil and grease seals.
Colonial Seal Co. offers an extensive list of standard and custom designed oil & grease seals. Our standard oil and grease seals conform to DIN types A, AS, B, BS, C or CS profiles. In addition to rotary shaft seals, we also supply hydraulic seals, metallic gaskets, o-rings, rubber molded seals and FDA / 3A compliant sealing solutions. These rotary shaft seals are available in several materials including Nitrile (NBR), Fluorocarbon (Viton®) and PTFE (Teflon ®) in both inch and metric sizes.
Colonial Seal Co. is an Authorized Veteran Owned, Small Business Supplier to the US Government. We supply “seal, plain encased” shaft seals, “seal plain”, "packing preformed", "retainer packing" and spiral wound gaskets to Mil-Spec requirements. We have an extensive NSN database and provide FSC number, drawing number and NSN cross reference services. Colonial Seal Co. will provide Certificate of Conformance, QA documents and Test Reports Free of Charge.

Our custom metal-cased rotary shaft seals are operational in windmills, earth moving & mining equipment and paper & pulp plants. Our non-metallic specialty high pressure PTFE seals are used in food & beverage equipment and pharmaceutical applications. We also supply specialty shaft seals for the oil & gas, chemical processing and aerospace & defense industries. Our standard oil and grease seals are operational in an extensive range of applications including bearings, electric motors, gear reducers and a variety of pumps.
