Behm Quartz Industries traces its company roots back to 1913 when George Behm & Sons founded the company to aid Dayton residents recover from a disastrous flood that destroyed much of the downtown business area. In 1969, Behm became one of the first companies in the United States to begin machining quartz and other specialty high temperature materials.
