Shepard Niles was founded in 1878, and we built our first crane around 1902. Since then, the name Shepard Niles has come to mean unrelenting quality, reliability and long life in material handling. Our custom hand-built, heavy-duty Class D and E cranes and hoists helped America become the world's leading industrial nation, and powered our country through two World Wars.
