OMNI Communications is a dealer of two-way radio communications products (wireless) and as such represents several manufacturers of base stations, mobile and portable radios, communication consoles, replacement parts, accessories, and peripheral items.
OMNI Communications is a qualified member of the CMBL (Centralized Master Bidders List) and the QISV (Qualified Information's Systems Vendor) for the State of Texas.
David N. Roberts, Manager of Government Sales, has over forty years of experience in the design, sale and installation of radio communication systems for Texas State Agencies, State supported Universities, Municipalities and School Districts throughout the State of Texas, and elsewhere in the United States.
Carolyn K. Roberts, the owner of OMNI Communications has over fourteen years experience in ownership and financial management of OMNI Communications.
Karen Whisenhunt recently joined OMNI Communications and has over 20 years in sales and marketing, graphics design and finance including acting as a senior analyst for financial operations at Shell Canada prior to moving to the United States. She now heads up the Internet Sales Division of OMNI Communications and maintains the website.
With the opening of the new Internet Sales Division, OMNI Communications is prepared to market select products throughout the United States and Internationally. In some cases, quotes received by OMNI Communications may be referred to dealers in the geographical area of the customer or a "no bid" may be rendered. In instances where OMNI Communications is the distributor and a physical installation of a base station or mobile radio is involved, it may require subcontracting the work to a more convenient service shop. At the request of the customer, with the proper frequency information, radios can be programmed prior to shipping to their final destination. OMNI Communications will always be the prime contractor and responsible dealer for sales received by the company.
