In November 1964, Lustre-Cal Nameplate Corporation started as a single person operation located in Lodi, California. Within one year of operating, the company grew from one employee to thirteen with current staffing at 98 team members.
Lustre-Cal produces high quality, custom labels, nameplates, panel overlays, serialized and bar-coded property ID labels, membrane switches, shielding, custom-converted and insert-mold decorated products. Lustre-Cal is able to meet unique needs with an almost limitless resource of materials (including V-0 fire rated material), adhesives, finishes, and other custom capabilities.
Lustre-Cal continually researches and develops new applications, tests new materials, inks, and adhesives. We are constantly raising the bar on our own standards, a necessary exercise to ensure that we stay on the cutting edge of technology. Lustre-Cal is not limited to manufacturing. Our team of experts can consult about material options, product construction, design, engineering, and graphics, as well as variables related to product life expectancy and cost efficiency.
