Arizona Capacitors specializes in the manufacture of film and foil capacitors and large format magnetic components and filters for government, industrial and commercial applications. We manufacture all of our products in Tucson, Arizona.
We deal with a large number of industries and our systems are scalable to accommodate both large volume manufacturing runs and small-volume short runs for the replacement market, especially for the military.
Our products have long-term market penetration, customer loyalty and a reputation for quality and responsibility.
About our Products
Dielectrics: Our flagship products are wound dielectrics in paper, foil, metalized film, polyester, polycarbonate, Teflon, polypropylene, and many special-request combinations.
Configurations: Our capacitor configuration capabilities include wrap and fill, epoxy dipped, preformed case, molded, ceramic tubular, phenolic, bathtub, tubular hermetic, rectangular hermetic, welded case, PVC tubular, and glass tubular.
Typical Applications: Our capacitors are used in applications for by-pass, RC networks, matched sets, pulse discharge, impulse generators, ferro resonant, laser, HID lighting, DC filtering, voltage multiplier, audio, and power supplies.
Capacitance and Voltage Ranges: Capacitance ranges from 50 pf to 5000 uf are available. Standard tolerance is ±10% but up to ±25% is available. Voltage ranges from 30 to 250 KVDC adn 50 KV to 100 KHZ are available.
Company History.
Arizona Capacitors, LLC acquired Goguen Industries of Arizona in December 2002. Originally founded in 1952, the company was also formerly the WestCap division of San Fernando Electric Manufacturing Company of Sacramento, Calif.
Many of our engineered capacitor and transformer drawings for military and private industry components date back as far as this era.
The company is now in its 12th year of operation at its present location. For the previous 30 years, it was located in the West Cap property in Tucson.
Our Tucson, Arizona facility is located on two acres and occupies 10,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space. We are located less than one mile from the Tucson International Airport and numerous airport hotels and eateries. We have very competitive labor rates and a well trained quality conscious work force.
