Clean Rooms International was established in 1982 and acquired in 1990 by the late David Toering. Nelson Werkema joined CRI in 1992 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He became President, a shareholder in 1997, and CEO in 2007. Mr. Werkema retired in October of 2008 but remains as a shareholder.
Timothy Werkema joined our sales department in 1997 and became a shareholder in 2000. He was given responsibility for the sales department as Vice President & Director of Sales and in January 2008, he became Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. On October 1, 2008 Mr. Tim Werkema became President and CEO.
